About WIMA Tasmania

WIMA Tasmania is a branch of the Australian division of the Women's International Motorcycle Association (WIMA). WIMA Tasmania is a growing organisation aiming to meet the various needs of women motorcyclists in TAsmania.

WIMA caters to all riders of all levels. We have learners aged 20-40 plus, riders with 20-30 years experience, and everything in between.

Our members come from varying backgrounds but have a common interest in enjoying the thrills of motorcycling in a safe and friendly environment. You are welcome to attend a monthly meeting or join us for a ride before deciding if you wish to join.

You don't have to ride or own a bike to belong to WIMA. Some of our longest-standing members still have the 'bike' in bits in the garage. Our association is for women who are interested in motorcycling in any form. Most activities include men as partners and friends, and they are most welcome at rides, rallies and events.
