About WIMA Victoria

Moira Stewart - Publicity shot for the Annual MRAA Toy Run WIMA Victoria is a branch of the Australian division of the Women's International Motorcycle Association (WIMA).

Founded in the USA in 1950, WIMA is a world-wide organisation which aims to promote and encourage motorcycling amongst women. We have members in most states of Australia as well as overseas.

You don't have to ride or own a bike to belong to WIMA. Some of our longest-standing members still have the 'bike' in bits in the garage. Our association is for women who are interested in motorcycling in any form. Most activities include men as partners and friends, and they are most welcome at rides, rallies and events.

WIMA Victoria was set up about 10 years ago, and has a membership in excess of 100 women. We meet monthly and organise a variety of events.
